New Model 744DP Laser Spot Tracker Module:
AMI’s next-generation Model 744DP Laser Spot Tracker Module builds upon our 55 years of spot tracker design experience and field-proven performance to offer wide flexibility for missile and platform tracker applications.
The 1.06 µm-enhanced Si PIN detector is temperature controlled and available with active diameters of 5.33 mm or 14.1 mm. Independent five channel noise detectors achieve long acquisition ranges for different background light and spot positions. Special circuits resist sunlight blinding in any one or all quadrants.
Models 7551A and 7552A:
The Model 7551A-04 Laser Rangefinder Receiver/Processor assembly comprises a high performance InGaAs APD receiver with compact support electronics to provide corrected range data to a host system. The serial range data output is calibrated using AMI’s patented technology to mitigate the effects of range errors from various sources including walk due to return signal amplitude variations. Exceptional sensitivity allows the use of low power lasers, or alternatively, long range operation.
New Model 789 CW & Pulsed Laser Diode Driver
AMI’s Model 789 OEM CW and Pulsed Laser Diode Driver is a highly efficient, current regulated buck converter to provide a programmable current to a floating laser emitter diode load. The output current is adjustable up to 50 Amps for both pulsed and CW applications and capable of driving laser compliance voltages up to 45 Volts.
The compact footprint provides a high-power density with capability to drive loads up to 1500 W average power and 2.25 kW peak power for pulsed operation with adequate cooling. Multiple units can be connected in parallel for higher output current applications.
Prototype Model 776 Short Pulse High Current Driver:
Compact, short pulse, high current diode driver designed to power pulsed laser diode stacks and VCSEL arrays for LiDAR and other short pulsed applications. The PCB is designed to accommodate multiple standard TO-can or chip mount laser diode packages with the option to mount in a vertical or edge mount orientation.

Hybrid eyesafe laser rangefinder receiver is designed for laser rangefinding & surveying equipment. Compact construction is ideal for miniature applications. Fast recovery from T0 overload allows ranging to close objects without compromising long range performance. The incorporation of an InGaAs APD gives very high sensitivity with time programmed gain to minimize false targets. Operation at both 1.06 µm and 1.54 µm is possible over a wide range of pulse widths.
