Model 312B Low Noise, GaAs FET Transimpedance Amplifier

Transimpedance Amplifer

The 312B Series are ultra low noise, high gain, GaAs FET amplifiers designed for low level current source input applications in which high gain is required.

  • ULTRA LOW NOISE – DOWN TO 1 pA/√Hz
  • HIGH GAIN – 1 MV/A
  • BANDWIDTH – DC or 200 Hz TO 65 MHz
  • ACCEPTS CURRENT SOURCE INPUTS
  • DIRECTIVE 2011/65/EU (RoHS II) COMPLIANT

Transimpedance amplifiers have a virtual ground input.  The capacitance of the current source and any cabling reduces the bandwidth and increases the noise. To optimize bandwidth and noise performance AMI compensates the input stage of the Model 312B transimpedance amplifier for the end user’s source capacitance.  The options are shown in the table below:

Model 755A-04.1

Hybrid eyesafe laser rangefinder receiver is designed for laser rangefinding & surveying equipment. Compact construction is ideal for miniature applications. Fast recovery from To overload allows ranging to close objects without compromising long range performance. The incorporation of an InGaAs APD gives very high sensitivity with time programmed gain to minimize false targets. Operation at both 1.06 µm and 1.54 µm is possible over a wide range of pulse widths.
