AMI’s Model 785A is a versatile laser diode driver for driving high power laser diodes in both pulsed and CW applications at up to 20 A, 26 V. In addition to the extremely low noise and ripple performance the 785A offers, this driver can also support high speed modulation at bandwidths up to 600 kHz as well as pulse shaping. The output pulse will match any arbitrary waveform shape within the bandwidth limitations that is applied to the Drive Control input. Applications for the Model 785A include material processing, illumination, medical therapy and pumping solid state lasers.
